You Can't Take It With You
Written By George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart
The eccentric Sycamore household may seem mad at first, but if they are, then the rest of the world will soon seem even madder. When Tony Kirby, the son of a very wealthy but unhappy banker, falls in love with Alice Sycamore, he decides to bring his parents to the Sycamore home to meet her extended family. What transpires is a hilarious mix-up that involves everyone from the IRS to the Grand Duchess of Russia. Produced in 1936, this Pulitzer Prize winning comedy is now recognized as one of the greatest American plays of all time.
